Skype and Microsoft have come together once again to bring you a new and exciting theme for the MS Store video wall. Celebrating the release of Skype on the Windows Phone the new Skype theme showcases the many different ways you can use Skype on all your Window’s devices. Working along side Skype’s marketing team the new Skype theme features a new branding style along with exciting new animations that mirror the Window’s Phone app.

Adobe Ideas
So I started playing around with Adobe Ideas the other day and I gotta say I think it’s starting to become one of my favorite iPad apps for sketching and illustrating. I think the biggest plus to this app is the fact that all the sketches are vector and I can import them into Photoshop or Illustrator with no loss of quality.

Microsoft Store: Star Wars Kinect
The new Star Wars Kinect game for Xbox removes the controller and brings the user into the Star Wars universe allowing them to act out all their favorite Jedi moves. For this concept I recreated the infamous Star Wars intro credits that stretch across the entire video wall in the Microsoft Stores.

Ok, so I’m no poet but I know filming macro shots of roses in the studio can make for a fun Valentines Day theme. The final combined resolution of the video piece was 57000 x 1080 pixels.
Microsoft Store: Now’s the Time
Now’s the Time… to check out the new video wall theme at your local Microsoft store. The “Now’s the Time” video wall motion graphics were put together in just a few weeks using lots and lots of key frames and layers to create an 8 bit pixel animated look and feel.
The final combined resolution of the video piece was 57000 x 1080 pixels.

Microsoft Store: Halo
Within just three days I created a massive video wall theme to help celebrate one of the biggest first person shooter game’s 10 year anniversary. Complete with an animated Master Chief, the Halo theme takes the current marketing artwork and stretches it across six quads. Using various particles and distortion effects I created an animated sky asset to help blend the background stitching together as well as breath more life into the video wall piece. For the Xbox zones an ambient space scene was created making it versatile for all the Microsoft Store layouts as well as tie in a nice story element to the video wall theme.

“Bleach vs. the Sixth Sense” is a short animated cartoon that was created in two days that parodies two different entertainment genres.

Total Eclipse is a short animated cartoon directed, written, and animated by Ryan Boyle. It parodies a real life experience where a group of younger office workers were discussing what time they were going to go see the “Eclipse”.
Ghost Rider: The Later Years
Ghost Rider is a comic book character created by Marvel where Johnny Blaze agrees to give his soul to Mephisto in order to save the life of his mentor.
Assassin Creed 3: Over-Logging
Assassin’s Creed 3: Over-Logging is a short animated cartoon I wrote, directed, and animated. It is based off of the popular game created by Ubisoft that parodies some of the games key plots.
Green Lantern: Across Time Doodles
A new set of Green Lantern doodles, this time creating a “what-if” scenario where a different character throughout history was chosen to be a Green Lantern. So what do you get? You get to see what it would be like if a viking or a pirate were chosen to join the intergalactic police force.
