It’s Halloween time at the Microsoft Store! And what better way to celebrate the holiday than a fun and exciting theme featuring your favorite classic monsters. The Halloween theme is a 57,000 pixel animated cartoon that engages the audience the minute they walk into the store. Look closely and you’ll see an owl playing Xbox against a witch or a group of ghosts jumping and dancing to an Xbox Kinect. There’s a story placed in each quad throughout the store so no matter where a customer is they can always look up and enjoy a fun, quirky animation to brighten up their shopping experience.

Assassin’s Creed 3: Over-Logging is a short animated cartoon I wrote, directed, and animated. It is based off of the popular game created by Ubisoft that parodies some of the games key plots. In the actual Assassin Creed game your character, Desmond Miles, is forced to relive the memories of his ancestors using a device called the Animus. The goal is to located important artifacts called the “Pieces of Eden” before the Templars can get their hands on them.
For about 3 years I worked as an Instructional Designer, taking educational content and converting them into animations, films, and motion graphics. I created each and every piece in the reel you are about to see below, from the illustrations to the animations. As an Instructional Designer I truly had to be a jack of all trades. I used a wide range of tools and software combined with learning objectives, like Bloom’s Taxonomy, to create well rounded and educational pieces of content.
Back in summer 2010 I was approached by Adam at Elixir Graphics to create an intro bumper for his Rapidweaver video content and tutorials. Elixir Graphics creates themes and icons for the popular website creation software Rapidweaver.
A music video I both Directed and Designed for Kari Kimmel’s new song “Trouble.” I also had a chance to play the role of the villain in the music video…which was way more fun anyone should be able to have on a green screen with some props.
