I've been working on some new
illustrations recently, say hello to one of the first ones "Alien
Attack v2." This is a remake of an older illustration I created
about a year ago. Keep checking back for the next few coming out
soon.
For all you out there who like free
stuff get ready cause I just added a free stock images section to my site! Hop on over to
the "Extras" section and checkout some of the free textures
and photos Sketchy Pictures has to offer! Feel free to email
suggestions for images you'd like to see added!
Here's
a screen capture showing how I illustrated the "Giant Mutant Bird"
image. Unfortanutely I ran out of disk space halfway through so I
couldn't capture the rest of the design process. But I think it
covers a good amount of the illustration.
I'd also like to credit Alex Hannah with creating the score for the
video.
Greetings fellow blog scanners! I have a great
announcement to share with you! I will be showcasing some of my art
at the"1st
Thursdays"art exhibit at the
Orlando Art Museum. If you're in town and want to stop on by and
check out some really awesome artwork feel free
to!

to Z: Anthropomorphism and ZoomorphismAnthropomorphism
is the attribution of human forms or characteristics to non-human
beings or objects, and zoomorphism is the use of animal forms in
the same way. Think: personification of inanimate objects or
abstract things such as emotions, machines, shape-shifters, the
weather, cars, gods and goddesses, patterns using animal imagery,
mythological beings, etc.
Ok, so I work on a Mac at the office
and most of the work I do is video editing. Recently my computer's
performance has been a little off. Well, I defraged my computer
today, that's right you do need to defrag your Mac! The Mac
automatically defrags files 20 MB and under, well if you're a video
editor or designer like myself, you're working with files way way
way over 20 MB.
So here's the result, you can see the before and after of my
computer's hard drive. Oh, and now a lot of problems I was having
are now gone, so whoop!
